We are looking for an Operations Manager

What our Operation Manager does:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high quality standards. Reports directly to the General Manager of the branch. 
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs and maximize overall efficiency.
  • Monitor production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, maintenance, and sales.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate a diverse team of supervisors and employees. Establish performance goals and provide ongoing feedback to foster employee growth and development.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to drive operational excellence. Conduct audits to assess performance and identify bottlenecks while implementing corrective actions and new technology.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 -5 years related experience (building materials and millwork is desirable)
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers preferred.
